170 years of growing knowledge - built over generations, not overnight.
Our story began in 1856, when William Ivory established a nursery in Rangiora. Today, his descendants continue the family business, which evolved from supplying orchard trees to specialising in large-scale restoration and landscaping projects that support sustainable growth across New Zealand.
Riverside supports restoration initiatives and community-led planting projects throughout New Zealand. To date, over 30,000 plants have been supplied to non-profit and community programmes, alongside ongoing support of charitable organisations.
Our contribution reflects our long-term commitment to strengthening both landscape and community resilience.
